I feel like this is getting repetitive, but one thing I am excited for is starting University next year.
I am attending Nipissing University for a double major in Philosophy and either Political Science or Psychology. I am hopefully going to be on the varsity cross country team. I am also moving into residence, which depending which building I am in, I will either have 5 or 3 other "roommates". Everyone has their own room, you share 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 living area. I want to be in the one with 5 roommates because the bedrooms are slightly larger and it is in a townhouse, so it is a larger living space. But I wouldn't mind being in the apartment style ones because that way I don't have to leave the building to do my laundry. I don't find out until mid-August who my roommates are, and where I am staying.
I am the most excited to learn new things, since I am a learning nerd. Secondly, I am excited to meet new people. I have been around almost all of the same people for the past 6 years. I am looking forward to finding new friends with similar interests.
Something weird/funny I was thinking about... I was talking to one of my teachers at graduation and she said that she had a roommate in her first year of university who was really crazy/weird but she said it was fun for the most part, and makes for a good story. I then wondered "Will I be the crazy one?". I might be. I have a weird "living-style". I eat at weird times, wear weird things around the house. I'm sure I'll adjust a tad for university, but still, I am a pretty weird person that does weird things.
So will I be the weird roommate? Maybe. Either that or I'll be the most sane roommate. There is no in-between. Either I am the insane one or the sane one.
