Excuse me.

I have a couple of things to say about this photo.

Firstly, I am tired of people defining and redefining success.

Secondly, this was written by "MaryEllen Tribby". From a quick google search I have discovered that she has her own blog for "Working Moms".

This explains the sexist POV that the woman is in the successful side and the male is on the unsuccessful side.

I am going to assume she is another extremist feminist.

Also, from what I have learned, not all, but most of the qualities on the "Successful" side, are generally associated with women, and most of the qualities on the "unsuccessful" side, are generally associated with men, anyways. But not all of them. It is just, generally women think things through, "create to-do lists", forgive, compliment, and give others credit. Men are generally seen as less caring then that, and can be seen as lazy, sitting watching "Tv" and secretly hope others fail.

I am not going on about sexist perspectives anymore, but just saying, this is extremely biased and an extremist feminist perspective, so it is definately not to be trusted.

You now may be like "Sarah? These seem like good things... to be successful, these things will help you."

Well, sure, generally things on the left side might help someone be more successful, but there are so many more not included.

As well, it doesn't hurt to have things on the left side.

Let me tell you something, I consider myself VERY successful, in my own POV. On the successful side, I count that I have 10/17 of these and the unsuccessful, 12/17 of those characteristics. It is a very biased picture, and I believe it is incorrect.

This just brings me to my views on society, once again. MaryEllen obviously views caring people as being more successful than angry, and I think that neither of things are true. Happiness is seen as the be all and the end all in society today, which is also incorrect.

These aren't necessarily true.
