Okay, first of all, I love making goals so much, I am weird, yes. But I realized that I had made goals at the beginning of this year... I am going to take a look back at them... and say whether or not I have completed them.
1. Get a gym membership. DONE!
2. "Get my hair done. I am calling my hair dresser tomorrow. I am going to get dark brown and possibly black lowlights." Is what I wrote. I didn't dye it, but I decided I didn't want that (yet). But I did get over 10inches cut off of it. So, I will make this yellow. I did mostly complete it ;)
3. Lose the 3.5 pounds I gained. This changed, this is incomplete! BUT THE THING IS, I changed it! I want to weigh 130lbs now... so gain 11lbs of MUSCLE! So.. I am glad this is incomplete.
4. Try something completely new. Yes. I've tried many new things.
Things I said quote "I am going to do"
1. To get a second job. I got one. I decided I no longer needed it, and quit 7 months later. COMPLETED!
2. Going to do yoga. I remember at the beginning, I was really good about this. Then I joined the gym and stopped doing yoga. I do stretch now, but not do yoga. I might do yoga like once a month now. So.. yellow.
3. Going to get a car . :(
4. Going to study hard. YUUSSS.
New Things I want to try in 2012:
1. Skiing. I didnt
2. Waterskiing. I didnt
3. Get a massage. I didn't
4. Make a rap. Still didn't.
5. Stand up comedy nope.
6. Yoga kinda.
My Official new Years Resolutions:
Drink more water - yep
Do more Yoga - sorta
Maintain my weight - nope.. thats a good thing though.
Be more spontaneous - yepish.
Get a second job- yep, but then I quit it.
Do well at drivers ed- Yep!
I actually feel so proud of myself.
Yoga... was probably my weakness. Didn't really do much of that. My weight, I changed my views about. I wanted to lose weight, but my workout regime has changed, and now all I want is to gain muscle and lose fat. I didn't try many of my "new things"... but... oh well.
NEW RESOLUTIONS!
1. Run a MARATHON! I am going to do it this year! I've ran my half-marathon, I am going to run a 30K, and I might run the Toronto MARATHON in (May?). But either way, by the end of 2013 (preferably before I start university) I will have run a marathon!
2. ROCK PEER TUTORING. Okay. This is a weird goal, but I want to do so well in peer tutoring, not even my grade (as long as it's over 90). But I want to seriously peer tutor the shit out of students. I REALLY HOPE that I get a teacher that will allow me to work in small groups with people who need help. I wish I could take 2 periods of peer tutoring. GAH! But seriously, I am excited.
3. Get 6 of my 4U/4M Marks over 90%. So far I have 2 marks over 90! I will get hopefully 3 this semester, and next semester I'm not taking any spares (as far as I know I'm not) so I will have a good chance. I need it for entrance scholarships for all of the schools I applied to (which one I'm going to, I don't know.)
4. I'm going to go ahead and say, start using my Youtube channel more. Especially once I am in University. I will try to make a video a month.
5. This will be a really hard goal... read a book a month. I read so slow, and I am always busy... but... I will try. Maybe some months I will read two books and another month none. I will try to keep it to a book/month, but it might be more like 12 books in a year... so... yeah.
6. I will leave the country. I will travel. Sometime, somewhere. It doesn't matter when or where, but within 2013, I will leave the motherfucking country.
In other news, I am going to write more goals (fitness related) in my other fitness blog. I haven't blogged on there in over 2 months, so if you've lost the link, now you have it :)
